Librateric CAB 50 is a high active (38%) grade of Cocamidopropyl Betaine. Cocamidopropyl Betaine possesses exceptionally low odour and low colour qualities.
Our CAB 50 is around 25% more concentrated than standard betaine, which makes it hostile to microbial growth, therefore eliminating the need for a preservative. Furthermore, Librateric CAB 50 provides exceptional viscosity building and foam boosting to anionic based cleansers.
In a personal care setting and in shampoo formulations, Librateric CAB 50 significantly reduces the amount of static build up while contributing to overall ‘mildness’. As well as this, it is stable and efficacious over a broad pH range and is compatible with both anionic and cationic surfactants.
At Libra, we are constantly looking for ways to make our products cleaner and greener. As a result of this, Librateric CAB 50, like many of our other products, is readily biodegradable.

Librateric CAB 50 is available in bulk, 1000 kg net IBC’s or 200 kg net plastic drums.
