Our Contribution
Libra Speciality Chemicals continues to invest heavily in technology to make our manufacturing processes cleaner, greener, non-polluting and more energy efficient. We aim to introduce Green Chemistry with environmental sustainability built into our processes. We are regulated by the Environment Agency under the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control System, which monitors the ever-improving environmental impacts of our chemical manufacturing.
Libra’s high-efficiency betaine plant, for example, is designed to minimise pollution during the manufacturing process by employing an efficient scrubbing process to capture and remove emissions.
Green Chemistry
We utilise the principles of Green Chemistry in our capital investments. This incorporates a series of ethical practices used to supply ‘green’ chemicals into the market.
